Job Announcement: Youth Summer Day Camp Coordinator
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

CKCPRD is looking for a high-energy, organized, Summer Day Camp Coordinator. The coordinator duties include organizing camp activities in advance of each camp, procure necessary supplies, arrange snacks, oversee promotion and registration, supervise camp staff members (counselors), interact campers and their parents/guardians, as well as manage behavioral issues under the direction of CKCPRD publicly elected Board of Directors.
CKCPRD will be hosting five weeks of youth summer camps July 8- August 9, 2024. Each camp is one week long, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 11:30 am. Each week the camp will have a different theme such as Water Week (Swimming); Soccer, Cooking etc. Campers and staff will meet in front of the CKCPRD Swimming Pool Building, 401 North King St. with most camps occurring on the CKCPRD grounds.
This is a seasonal position approximately June 24 to August 15, 2024. Mandatory hours will be 7:45am to 12:15pm Monday through Friday July 8-August 9, 2024. Additional planning, staff training and preparation time will be required, not to exceed 30 hours during the weeks of camp; and 20 hours in the two weeks leading up to camp and a few days post camp for organizing camp supplies and records.
